Golf Course Renovation

Georgia Golf Construction has a solid reputation in the golf course reconstruction industry. We believe that the number one goal of a renovation project is to improve the playing conditions of the golf course. During the reconstruction process we focus on causing a minimal disruption of  play while maximizing the condition of the existing course. In order to do this, we utilize lighter equipment with turf tires and we use  hand work in order to obtain the highest amount of detail in our projects. We believe our experience and strong planning skills make the rebuilding process a rewarding and worthwhile endeavor for our clients.

Irrigation

Georgia Golf Construction offers irrigation services on both new construction and renovation projects. We also offer irrigation installation as a stand-alone project. We believe that the irrigation system is crucial to the development of a sound golf course. Consequently, we typically recommend using our own irrigation professionals on new construction and renovation projects. During the installation process we take precautions to ensure that your golf course is not damaged by heavy equipment. We also try to avoid disruption of play as much as possible. If your irrigation system is installed by Georgia Golf Construction it will be the highest quality available in the golf course construction industry.

 

Golf Course Renovation

• Constructing specialized gravel layered bunkers with liners (water is diverted to avoid problems on the outside of bunkers---which tend to be the culprit of poor playing conditions on the inside)

Tees

• Laser grading tee boxes

Drainage

• Installing all sizes and types of pipe

Grassing and Finish Work

• Sodding, sprigging, and seeding (we use a good mix of handwork and equipment to produce professional finish work)
